Rubber walkway and sidewalk paving

Safer footing from the driveway to the door

Rubber paving over cracked or heaved walkways, front steps, side paths and building entrances. Slip resistant in ice and rain, easier on knees and hips, and done without a demolition crew.

Rubber-paved walkway along the side of a house

The walk to the door should not be the riskiest part of winter

Front walks and sidewalks heave, crack and tilt, then ice over. For anyone with a cane, a stroller or a bad hip, a tilted slab under a skim of ice is a real hazard, and for a business it is a liability.

Rubber paving levels the trip points, bridges the cracks and gives a textured surface that grips in ice and slush. It goes over the existing walk, steps and landings as one seamless surface, in colours that suit the house or the storefront.

  • Levels lips and trip points
  • Grips in ice, rain and slush
  • Softer on joints than concrete
  • Steps and landings in the same pour
  • Residential and commercial

Our process

How a walkway gets done

  1. Inspect and measure

We look at trip points, drainage and the condition of the steps, and measure for a firm quote.

  2. Pressure wash and level

The surface is cleaned, and lips and low spots are ground or filled.

  3. Prime

A bonding primer ties the rubber to the old surface.

  4. Mix on site

Granules and binder in your chosen colour.

  5. Pour and trowel

Walk, steps and landings finished as one surface with clean edges.

  6. Cure

Walk on it the next day.

What people say after the job is done

We hired Midwest Armour Solutions for a full epoxy coating in our commercial shop, and they knocked it out of the park. Zero shortcuts, top-tier materials, and their crew was professional from start to finish. They even worked around our schedule to avoid downtime. The floor looks sharp and holds up against forklifts, spills, and heavy equipment. Saskatchewan needs more companies like this.

Fast, clean, and built to last. 10/10 experience! I had Midwest Armour coat our basement floor, and the entire process was seamless. They explained everything clearly, did a full grind and prep (which most other guys skipped), and gave me a rock-solid finish that doesn't scratch or stain. Bonus: it even has that subtle flake shine that looks amazing under lights. I've already recommended them to two neighbours.
Mark R
These guys are the real deal. Professional, honest, and the floor looks unreal. I had them coat my shop floor out on the farm, and not only did they travel out without hassle, but they also prepped everything perfectly and had it done faster than expected. The floor is solid, non-slip, and holds up against oil, mud, and daily use. Best part? It still looks brand new months later. Hard to find this level of workmanship these days.
